Rising from the Shadows: African Stars’ Unforgettable Championship Journey
By the time the final whistle blew on June 1, 2025, African Stars had earned the crown of Debmarine NPFL Champions, and what a breathtaking ride it was.
Prologue: A Rocky Opening
Our season was meant to kick off against Young African, but fate stepped in—postponement rewrote our plans. Instead, December 6, 2024 brought us into Round 2, a tense 0–0 stalemate with UNAM. The result didn’t sparkle, but it whispered promise.
Two days later, in Round 3, came the first spark. Against Bucks Buccaneers, Jimms delivered the finishing blow, assisted by Stephanus. A fragile 1–0 win, yet our first taste of momentum.
